Two-Faced

A sentence about "The Dark Knight":

It should be tonight's entertainment. "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villian. . . . "

Okay, that was actually 2 sentences. Who's counting when even Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 94% fresh? It was more than just entertaining! It was yummy! I can't even get into Heath Ledger's portrayal. He was full of delectable evil. Then again, each one of the characters in this flick added more than their names to it. It is a must see.

Fantastic!

I never go to the theater. I hate it. Hate the crowds, the kids, the prices etc. But, I'm going to the theater to see The Dark Knight. Sometime next week, probably Tuesday. I can't stand to wait that long, but I will have to.

Jay: this is why the husband and I go during the matinee as much as possible; even during the summer. We have found that we tend to miss the crowds, kids, tweens and teens. I can live with the ever increasing pricing, but I can't stand it when kids are obnoxious, rude, crude, crazy and annoying. That which seems to be on purpose just b/c they have no parental units around.

Daytime movies are good for missing that junk.

You will enjoy this one! It'll be worth the wait!

Alli: It's so good! Hellboy 2 was awesome too! Not as awesome as The Dark Knight, but still pretty good.

Congrats on your condo sale! Going to Magnolia for a wee bit?

I really want to see this, but unless there are 4 convenient bathroom breaks for Nikki during the movie I guess I'm waiting until it comes out on DVD.

Ian: awwww - poor Nikki! That so makes seeing a movie a bit tough. It'll be worth the wait for DVD.

I guess this means no new wee little Morrison quite yet. . . ?

Holy hyperbole, Batman!

Now I was going to be happy to let this one slide past along with most other Batman movies - you see they just don't measure up to the old Adam West ones!

Might just have to check this one out now!

Good to see you back!

I've been hoping someone I knew would review this movie. I was on the fence. So, thanks! I think I'll drag Hoop to it this weekend. :)

not sure if I want to see this one. Creepy characters like the Joker creep me out. I get the woogies.
I'm thinking I may wait for the DVD. Of course, Hell Boy...that one I wanna see...curious huh?

rock chef: Old school Batman! Love it! This film is the "darker" side of the bat man. It was awesome!

Tink: there's a lot of hype surrounding this movie, but as I always say, "enjoy it for what it's worth!" The husband and I loved it! Others not-so-much, but each character made this movie a gotta see in my book!

Em: I hope you'll enjoy it!

tt: but he's so AWESOME at being creepy! He was also pretty damn funny!

fi: understand. I used to not like going to movies on my own, then, I didn't mind so much. Still, it isn't the same when you don't have someone next to you jumping in your lap or yours in theirs!

I did get sad a few times throughout the movie just by thinking, "Heath's gone. . . "

freakazojd: I'm STILL "WT-effing" over my road rage incident too! ack! Crazy-arsed girl.
