Quietly & Safely Insane Every Night of My Life

I had a dream the other night.

My four-legged non-opposable thumbed dog, Chobie, was climbing a tree in our backyard. I have not a clue as to why my deliciously adorable Keeshond decided to climb a tree? He just did. Unbelievably, he was really very good at climbing a tree until he got about 4-feet off the ground where he slipped and fell. Chobie hit the mother earth with a "thump". He wasn't hurt, just a little stunned. While the dog remained lying on his side in the grass the husband turned to face me and in his matter of fact manner said, "well . . . that serves him right for climbing a tree."

And, that was that.

Wow, what a logical and sequential dream. How unusual.

I dreamed that I was going around someone's town square last night arm-in-arm with Barack Obama and singing hymns. What do you think THAT means?!

I've seen Chobie climb loads of trees before. He's great at it, but usually always uses a rope and harness. Did he have a rope and harness?

Ha! That is a very logical (well, mostly) and sequential dream. I'm glad he didn't hurt himself, mostly.

Em: I seem to always have dreams that are sequential, but I can't say they're always logical. Many times they are & I remember almost each and every one of them. If I posted them, all ya'll would really think I was insane.

Ian: sadly, he forgot those 2 much needed necessities. And since he's not Bear Gryllis. . . he never had a chance.

etk: I remember feeling panicked when Chobie fell & then knowing he was fine, which made me relax.

I told the husband about this dream when I woke up. I got to the point where he said what he said and Tonic busted out laughing for a bit!

It IS pretty funny!

Did you hit the cold medicine before bedtime? ;-)

Alli: But puppies are awesome!

Jay: One would tend to think that was the case, but no. No drugs. Just my own little crazy each and every night.

That was an odd dream...

My mom once rescued a one-and-a-half eared keeshond called Boris. He was a beautiful dog, but didn't like one of my mom's other rescued dogs so we had to pass him on to a friend of ours. He had a long and very comfortable life with her.

Interesting. Whose voice did he use?

chief rock chef: I gotta tell ya, those Keesies are very particular when it comes to other dogs! I've noticed this as well in my 2 that I've rescued over the years myself.

I hope mine are having a "long and comfortable life" with us too!

g-man: Chobie no speak. It was the husband who spoke those words to me in my dream and it sounded just like the husband!

What a cute puppy! He needs a safety net next time you dream about him! :)
