Waking Up Is Hard To Do

Can someone tell me why, an admittedly abhorrent, disagreeable, frightful, ghastly, hideous, lousy and do not forget obnoxious dancer, I. . . errr . . . . I mean, they would purchase "Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2" to play on their husbands XBox 360? And then wonder in complete and utter astonishment as to why they are failing miserably on the beginner workout level? Really. This needs an explanation.

I've never tried this game but I've watched a lot of people do it. I'm pretty sure I would be an epic failure at it.

If you're looking for a good laugh, put me on that game. Thing you're no good at it? Just imagine someone at least 50 times worse at it...

Those things are just designed to make you look stupid and the worst thing is that we PAY for the privilage!

DDR is awesome. Come on Jen! Even I have finished one song. Nikki is a master at it. My technique involves standing on my left leg and using the right to push whatever symbol I need to, no matter where it is. Always good for a laugh.

I think what needs an explanation is why ANYONE (good dancer OR bad) would purchase this game. I hate DDR. I hated it at the arcades and thought it was even more stupid in the home version. But maybe that's because I suck. Or maybe not . . . who knows. :)

Em

PS I do, however, LOVE Guitar Hero!

Jay: I AM an epic failure at it. But I am having fun at being an epic failure at it.

r.e.h.: Putting me on that game is great for a laugh - thus, I get 2x's the workout!

Rock Chef: good point. Didn't think of that one . . . I PAID to make myself look stoopid! Ha!

Ian: I never said anything BAD about the game, in fact, the post was about how horrible my dancing skills are.

I played for over and hour yesterday and finished loads of songs. I'm just not good at it. In fact the highest score I got was a "C" - but mainly "E" and "D", if I was lucky.

Em: I pretty well suck at the game, but I want to master it. So, I'll keep looking the fool until I have some semblance of rythym. . . This could take years - decades even.

Were'd my post go? I must have typed the word verification in wrong. doh!

Anywho, I have never tried DDR. I sounds like fun & good exercise, eh?

Oh, and I have never tried Guitar Hero either. Not much of a gamer I am.

I wonder what DDR would be like after a few glasses of wine?

LOL!

Um - maybe you should video tape yourself and put it on youtube for us? Huh? :)

Seriously woman - check with the alli-chick and come visit me!

Guitar Hero rules!

Nikki had a lot of the neighbourhood girls over for DDR and margaritas a couple of months ago. It sounded like a good time, but fortunately I was out of town.

Alli: I will NOT attempt Guitar Hero until I have at least gotten some of my grove back on this DDR2. When and if you visit, I'll be sure to pull out the wine and the DDR2. . .we'll see what happens then! Ha!

etk: naw-uh! No WAY Jose! Over my dead body. . . . foo.

Well, I've got a secret & I'll letchyallno sometime soon, but it involves me + Alli = coming to ATL. It may be a bit longer in coming to visit/see/meet/greet you than expected. I know, sad, but for good reason. Post to come later re: this (Alli may already know, but she can't tell)!

Ian: next time you 2 are up here you will be expected to perform. I can have any and all libations desired. . . ! And, you are allowed to laugh at me if you like, but no You Tube videos. all recording devices will be banned.

I must be one of the few people that loves playing this game. I'm really good at it, too!

Come on girl..don't give up!!!

There should be stipulations before buying the game....

must have only one left foot.

Right?

Keep trying! No one's watching!

Secret? hmm-wha? huh? I'm lost.

SCG: I'll keep trying. I WANT to love this game too!

Butterfly Girl: I DO have 2 left feet, come to think of it, I may have 3, 4, 5 and 6 left feets. . . . I'm terrible, but you are right there is no one watching me except for the husband who commented, "that looks hard!" He's tried it too & found out how hard it actually is!

Alli: You know. You'll just have to see my next post to understand . . . ***wink***
