Alli: No. Not really. But(!). . . T asked me to pick up "syrup" while I was at the grocery & he made sure to write down, "NOT MAPLE SYRUP". . . oh wait, I digress. . .
He did ask for syrup and when I went to buy some they were on sale for 4 for $4.50, where they are normally $3.50 a piece. I just saw "bargain" in my eyes!
Hahahahaha. I don't think I have ever purchased a bottle of syrup. Ever. I don't really do the breakfast thing right now. My morning schedule is pretty cramped - I get up with just enough time to throw on my clothes and do my hair and run out the door. (I have even started showering at night to be able to accommodate this routine more easily!)

PS Today's word verification word? Fejuce. I am wondering if that is like a new kind of strength/energy/health juice that has iron in it (hence the Fe). I'll look for it next time I'm at the store.
Em: funny thing is, is that I don't really like syrup. I love maple syrup, but I don't typically use it either. It's the husband who does. Although, lately, I've used it on the waffles I made - trust me, they needed syrup!
Even at IHOP I eat the pancakes plain. I know. No one has to remind me that I'm weird. thankyouverymuch
I love, LOVE real maple syrup...especially from good ol' NY state....Canadian is good, too...I guess. Mucho better than the artificial. Funny, I think my hubby prefers the fake syrup, too. Weirdenss! ;)
Sometime you'll have to try plain pancakes or waffles with peanut butter AND syrup....it's amazing! The hubby & his dad introduced this to me. I only put it on ONE pancake occasionally, b/c obviously it is not light in calories...but dang it's good!
I think you probably have enough syrup now that if you try it with peanut butter and don't like it you won't feel too bad about throwing it away. Sounds disgusting though.
OMG! At first I thought it sounded so disgusting, too. When I was having breakfast with Hubby, his Dad, & TT at their house & that's how Hubby & his dad were eating it, I felt I had to try it. IT IS SO DELICIOUS! Dangerously so....
Try it....even if only once.
I wonder if T got that from S? S got it from his dad.
Ian: this is true. I'm just afraid to try it, for the following reasons:
1) it doesn't look good 2) it doesn't sound good (or it didn't before) 3) it is mucho, mucho sugar (as if I need more of an excuse to be a spaz) 4) can I say fat grams? Or even calories? 5) I may just end up liking it and want it always. . .
Come to think of it, you got me to consume haggis & I liked that. Hmmm?
Alli: see? You're a girl and I'm more inclined to trust you. I may try it some day.
I don't know where T got it from? I didn't ask. You might be right.
Princess: OMG! You said the "p" word followed by "craving"!
Butterfly Girl: the husband will pretty much eat any kind of fake syrup with his waffles or pancakes, but, surprisingly, this stuff is pretty good!
Simply Curious: ***waiting by toaster to grab it before you*** LOL!
Alli: the husband said he learned that mixture from his dad. It must be a dad thing; however, I never saw my dad do that. Of course, we be from the northern states, so. . . .
In a nutshell, I am a little bit crazy and only a little bit funny. I possess a little pack of animals.
I have more than a little love in my life. I believe in a little kindness and in more than loads of forgiveness. I am married to the husband and contrary to popular belief, little is he fake.
And, finally, every now and then I can knock back a little dirty vodka martini. Shaken not stirred with extra olives, preferably. Slainte Mhath!

Jay: the husband would agree!

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you make a Costco pit stop?
Valley Girl: Embarrassing enough, no. I got them at the good ole fashioned grocery store.
Costco would've been a great excuse, no?

Ok... now I'm craving some Waffle House pancakes... Yummy!
Alli: The husband does that! He loves syrup and peanut butter mixed together! I've never had the cajones to try that myself. . . you say it's good?
r.e.h.: I know! ***yum***
