On Friday, I spent the entire day prepping our dinning & family room to receive some paint. You will be surprised . . . . but I did not do this in my stiletto's. ***gasp*** I know! What is the world coming to? I did; however, put on my Converse sneakers that I loll around in every now and then. I wore them for several hours. Without socks.

I can't stand the feeling either. I think there are even tinier sockettes that you can buy- you can't even see them inside a shoe, but they protect the foot.

Princess: I just never thought of little sockettes. I mean, I usually wear these shoes with very long pants, so I don't worry if my socks are showing as no one can see them anyway. Great idea!

I am a dork too. I have socks with the days of the week on. I will only wear them on the right days.
My son has socks with the days of the week on also. Unfortunately, they are only for Monday to Friday and he has to wear plain grey school socks during the week so he always has socks with the wrong day written on them at the weekend. We didn't really think that one all the way through, but fortunately, his reading ability hasn't reached days of the week yet, so he's not too confused.
