My weekend in pictures:
Found this little guy on our patio.
Moved flagstone here.
Played with Dixie & all four-legged furries.
Made Sunday's breakfast of pumpkin pie pancakes.
Picked up new glasses.
Hope you had a good one too!
(P.S. I ran 7 miles on Saturday, but didn't have a camera. My training continues.)

That little guy on your patio... I love that picture. Beautiful!
You're such a good wifie. :)
Yes, cool little chickie you found on your patio...I wonder how many male counter parts she has devoured? mwah-aww-aww
Diggin the glasses...very pretty!
Great job on the running! I'm jealous. I just can't seem to find my motivation again...
r.e.h.: Thanks! It was absolutely fascinating to watch. They don't have smooth movements when walking. . . It was almost creepy.
Alli: She looked quite p*ssed I was photographing her & I was wondering when she last ate.
The glasses sure aren't Prada, but I guess they turned out better than I remember. I was pretty upset when I left there, b/c I thought I lost my earring.
My motivation comes from a running partner. We have a set schedule and we are very good at sticking to it! I don't think I could do it on my own either.
Not to be repetitive, but that IS an awesome photo...all of them are.
White truffle? Sounds classy...My Friday night's dinner was McD's...
I love love LOVE your new glasses!!
What planet did that thing on your patio come from??
Cool glasses!
Seriously, that's a great picture. Acid for blood, you think?
That first photo is just too cool.
That mantis, or what ever it is, is great!
Yeah, I miss having a training partner/group. Hubby is having foot issues, so it's tough for him right now.
That bug is weird, but cool.
Cute doggies.
Awesome glasses!
Good job on the run. I hate running any further than 5 miles. Period.
Sorry I've nothing original to add but the picture of the Praying Mantis is really cool.
And the new specs are rather smart - really like that picture too.
Also, I love an alliterative breakfast although my favourite would be a Big Brown-Bread Bacon Bap.
Princess: White truffle rocks the kasbah! But it was only mac 'n cheese - a bit like Micky D's.
etk: Thank you! I was a bit worried as I couldn't remember much of what I'd bought when I saw I'd lost my earring. I'm okay with my rapid decision. Still. . . .they're not Prada.
Jay: It does look like the alien from "Alien" doesn't it? I even thought it's hands were cut off & felt sorry for the leetol guy, but then she just "un-folded" them. Creepy.
Ian: She seemed pretty peeved I was taking her picture! I should be more careful, esp. when it comes to acid for blood! ! !
Buffy: Thank you! It turned out better than I realized at the time.
Rock Chef: I saw her from my computer and had to go investigate. She did turn out to be a pretty cool thang. . .
Mindy: I'm not a fan of the over 5-mile-club either. So not a fan. But it has to be done. ***ugh*** Thanks for the kudos on all the pix's.
Shanksi: ***laughing*** Leave it to the Scotsman to find the actual definitive word to the same consonant at the beginning of each word! (I had to look that one up, I can't believe you knew that off the top of your head!) You're good, man - really good! Thank you all the same.
P.S. I like bacon and bread, in fact, the Morrison's are famous for egg and bacon breakfast sandwiches after a night out with brewsky's, who wouldn't love such an honorable food?
. . . Mmmmmm. . . . Hungry now.
