What Do You Want, an Adorable Pancreas

Am covered in thy paint. I might be close to being toxic.

Will get back to thee all when able to varnish off. . . .

Try sandpaper. That will get the paint off.

So you're busy painting now... hope it all turns out nice, and beware not to get too high from the fumes.

I have to wonder what that has to do with having an adorable pancreas.

Hope you're having fun!

Yes, how do you come up with your titles? Love 'em!

Ian: Um. Ow.

r.e.h.: I've been prepping for paint for 18 hours. I've been painting 12 hours. I am procrastinating the take down of prep work only to begin prep work again. I did the walls. Sound confusing? I now have the fireplace and trim. In just the family room. It doesn't include the outside of the house where we will be painting trim next week. Stay tuned for more Bob Vila.

Simply Curious: Absolutely nothing. I know. I'm weird. Ask Alli. She knows.

Alli: Like that boy in the Sixth Sense, "I hear weird things." They sometimes stick and sometimes get jumbled. Either way, every once in a while they work. ***wink***

Just remember not to wait too long to take the painters tape down. If it dries completely the tape will pull up a lot of the paint on the walls when you pull it up. I know this from personal experience. ;-)

The prep work take forever, but it's so worth it! I'm not careful enough to paint without taping everything off.

Jay: Thanks for the advice. I learned this the hard way back in the day. I just finished taking that blasted blue tape off. I'm worried; however, about putting it up on the fresh coat of paint, b/c obviously, I have to put it up to paint the fireplace and trim. Though, when I am done with those 2 things I have to pull it off newly painted walls . . . . This tape is strong - it's like it's on steroids - I am afraid it will also pull off new paint.

Any ideas?

I don't think I needed to ask anyone to know you were weird. If you were normal, I don't think I'd read your blog so often...lol.

Yes, did you get paint on your pancreas? I would imagine that very toxic!
